Here you will find up to date information regarding construction projects currently being handled by IVGID and/or involving Incline Village and Crystal Bay.

Diamond Peak Skier Services Building

Description of project: The Diamond Peak Skier Services Building is a 2-story wood and steel framed building of approximately 11,000 sq. ft., which will include the ticketing area, child ski center and administrative offices. The project also includes demolition of existing buildings, mass earthwork, utility relocation, and roadway and parking lot reconfiguration.

2010 Fire Flow Enhancement Project

Description of project: Installation of watermains and related appurtenances.
Construction starting May 2010 with project completion scheduled for June 15, 2010.

2010 Water Pump Station Improvements Project
Description of project: Demolition of an existing and construction of a new water pumping station.
Construction starting May 2010 with project completion scheduled for November 30, 2010.
Area effected: Intersection of Ski Way and Fairview

Boat Ramp Improvement

Description of project: Installation of a safety transition on existing boat ramp.
Construction is estimated to start in May/June 2010.
Area effected: Ski Beach Boat Ramp

Third Creek Phase II

Description of project: Replacement of the two culverts on Incline Way at Incline Creek and Third Creek.
Construction is estimated to start in September 2010.
Area effected: Incline Way – Road will be closed to thru traffic for up to six weeks.

Spooner Pump Station Upgrades

Description of project: The Spooner Pumping Station will be modified to upgrade the export pumps to two 250 HP and two 350 HP; remove the existing standby generator and diesel fuel tank, create a bypass system between the discharge and suction headers, include the addition of a building for the new 900 kW standby generator with a 1,600 gallon fuel base tank; and construct a new access road on the south end of the site onto State Route 28. Additionally, the existing Spooner Pumping Station generator will be relocated and installed at the Sewer 1 facility. The existing Sewer 1 generator will then be relocated and installed at the Water Pump Station 5-2 facility.

Construction is estimated to start in summer 2011.
