GET COUNTED™
People who participate in carpooling regularly can GET COUNTED through a Washoe County Programs called Smart Trips.  This registers and tracks users willing to share rides (they don't even have to be Washoe County rides!) Sharing rides eliminates VMT or Vehicle Miles Travelled which impacts our environment. As rural western residents, to GET COUNTED  is an important part of planning strategies and posturing of-opportunities to get our tax dollars back west to serve our transit needs.
