Diamond Peak Ski Resort

Diamond Peak supports a year-round staff of about 10 employees, six of whom maintain the resort during the off-season by servicing, repairing or replacing over 14 miles of snowmaking pipe with 250 pairs of hydrants, 130 snowmaking guns, six chairlifts with a combined length of over two miles and more than 500 chairs, four snowmaking water pumps, two snowmaking compressors, five grooming cats (each with thousands of moving parts), 10 buildings, five snowmobiles, five mountain vehicles, two pieces of heavy equipment and 40 computers.

The administrative year-round staff of four spend the off-season on the marketing, planning, and budgeting functions that are equally crucial to keeping the resort running.
