Angie Rodriguez, 2010 NCPGA Growth of the Game Award Winner

Incline Village, NV –The Northern California Section of the Professional Golfer’s Association of America has chosen Angie Rodriguez as the recipient of its 2010 President Plaque . The award is given yearly in recognition of a PGA Professionals extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in the area of player development.  This award considers the PGA Professional’s growth of the game leadership commitment at the Section and National levels and the impact made at the facility.

Angie has been the Head Professional at the Mountain Course in Incline Village since 2005. Since that time she has implemented a variety of innovative programs such as Nine and Wine, 6 after 6 and Family Tees. The main goal for these programs is to keep players in the game longer and encourage beginners to start the game. Since 2005 these programs have been responsible for just over 6,000 additional rounds.

Angie is a Certified PGA professional in Golf Course operations and past recipient of the National Golf Course Owners Association Player Development Award.
