Christmas Tree Recyling Program

The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District (NLTFPD) has partnered up again with Incline Village General Improvement District’s Waste Not Program, to offer the annual FREE community Christmas Tree Chipping program .

In addition to the Dec. 22, 2012 –Jan. 31, 2013 drop-off location for Xmas trees at Preston Field; Waste Management will be offering a “Curbside Christmas Tree Recycling Roundup Week” Jan. 7-11, 2013. During this week - Incline Village/Crystal Bay residents may place clean, undecorated trees curbside for recycling collection on their standard service day.

Trees must be 6 foot or under, any tree over 6 foot should be cut into 3 foot lengths.
